Andreas Roald
CEO
Andreas Roald has over 15 years experience in investment and finance in film and media and has advised several investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds on their media interests. Andreas specialises in the film, music and theatre sector. This includes backing Broadway musicals, ‘Kinky Boots’
(6 Tony awards, including Best Musical and Best Music for Cyndi Lauper) and ‘Here Lies Love’ by Fatboy Slim.
Andreas has produced films including ‘Effie Gray’ by double Oscar winner Emma Thompson, and the award-winning ‘Cradle of Champions’ with music from Rihanna. Upcoming films includes ‘Memoria’ from Palme d’Or winner Apichatpong Weerasethakul, starring Tilda Swinton, and ‘Triangle of Sadness’ starring Woody Harrelson from acclaimed director Ruben Ostlund (winner of the Cannes Palme d’Or for ‘The Square’).
Andreas holds a BA (Hons.) in Film and Media studies from the University of Stirling and a Masters of European Audiovisual Management from the Media Business School in Madrid. As a former Officer of the Royal Norwegian Navy, Andreas served as a platoon commander.

Donald Rosenfeld
President
Donald Rosenfeld was the President of Merchant Ivory Productions from 1986 through 1998, where he worked on the creation of the cinematic masterpieces: ‘Mr. & Mrs. Bridge’ , ‘Howards End’ (8 Academy Award Nominations), and ‘The Remains of the Day’ (9 Academy Award Nominations), among others. Rosenfeld was the youngest producer ever to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1992.
Rosenfeld has continued to produce major motion pictures following his Merchant Ivory years. His films include; ‘Color of a Brisk’ , ‘Leaping Day’, ‘Forty Shades of Blue’ which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, ‘The Tree of Life’ , directed by Terrence Malick, starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, which won the top prize at the 64th Cannes Film Festival, and the upcoming ‘Tonight At Noon’ , starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and the late Rutger Hauer.
In 2008, in partnership with Andreas Roald, he founded Sovereign Films, producing together ‘Effie Gray’ (written by and starring two time Oscar winner Emma Thompson), ‘Cradle of Champions’, and Terrence Malick’s award-winning documentary ‘Voyage of Time’, narrated by Cate Blanchett.
